We’re a small, home-based Ragdoll cattery in the Northeast, and our cats are a big part of our family.
We believe healthy, happy, well-socialized kittens start with being raised at home. Our kittens grow up around family, other pets, and everyday life.
🐾 How We Got Started
Before Ragdolls, we spent many years breeding Labrador Retrievers. We’ve always loved raising animals and take pride in the time and care we give them.
When we brought home our first Ragdoll, we quickly fell in love with the breed. Their sweet personalities, relaxed nature, and beautiful coats made it easy to understand why so many people adore them. Northern Lights Ragdolls grew from there.
👨👩👧👦 Family & Homeschool Raised
We’re a homeschooling family with five kids, two dogs—Azalea and Ruby—other cats, chickens, ducks, and the occasional surprise animal the kids bring home.
Our kittens grow up right in the middle of it all. They’re handled, played with, and loved every day. They become comfortable with the sounds and activity of a busy home, and our children help care for them.
We love watching each kitten’s personality develop. By the time they leave for their new homes, they’ve had plenty of attention, playtime, and experience being part of a family.
How We Raise Our Kittens
We raise our Ragdoll kittens in our home, where they get plenty of love, attention, and time with our family.
They grow up around children and other pets, which helps them become friendly and comfortable in new homes.
Health testing matters to us: we health test our breeding cats and take the well-being of every kitten seriously.
Our goal is simple: to send each kitten to a caring family ready to love them.
